Each guide starts with a question somebody asked us on the phone or on WhatsApp. Which shuttle speed to buy for June and which for January. Whether 2lb 10oz is too much bat for a season on matting. What breaks first on a pair of ৳4,000 studs. The writer names what they play, where they play it, and how long they have used the thing they are writing about.

These are not reviews. Nobody is paid to write them and nothing is scored out of ten. A guide will tell you to skip the ৳22,000 racket and put ৳3,000 into a restring instead, or to buy nothing until the monsoon is over. When a product suits one kind of player and no other, the guide names that player and sends everyone else elsewhere. When we get something wrong, we change the page and say what changed.
