What the statuses mean
Awaiting confirmation
We call the number on the order to confirm it before anything is packed. Size, grip, tension and address can all still be changed.
Confirmed
Confirmed on the phone. Nothing is packed yet.
At the bench
Knocking-in or stringing. Two working days for a bat, same day for a racket in before 2pm. This is a hold we put on the order, not a courier delay.
Packed
Boxed, weighed and labelled. Waiting for the van.
With courier
Scanned out of the shop. A consignment number exists from this point. Ask for it.
Out for delivery
The rider has it today. Keep the phone with you and the cash ready.
Delivered
Paid in cash and handed over. The return window starts on the delivery date.
On hold
Either we could not reach you on two calls, or the item failed the bench check. We do not ship a bat with a crack in the toe.
Cancelled
Cancelled before dispatch. Nothing was charged.
Returned
Two failed delivery attempts, parcel back at the shop. We hold it 7 days and call you.
Lapsed
We could not confirm it on the phone in time. Nothing was charged and nothing shipped.

We do not run live courier tracking. No map on this page, no dot moving down Gulshan Avenue. The form above shows where your order stands with us; beyond that we have the order ledger, a merchant panel for each courier, and an order desk that answers during working hours.

The form looks the order up straight away and shows where it stands. It does not reach into the courier's system: once a parcel is with the courier, ask the order desk for the consignment number.

Where the order number is

Order numbers look like SPC-24817. Three letters and five digits. It is on the screen the moment you place the order, not when the cart is filled.

  • The SMS, from the sender ID SPORTYCUS, within two minutes of confirmation. It carries the number and the total.
  • The email, in the subject line: Sportycus order SPC-24817 confirmed.
  • The invoice slip inside the box, top right. Useful for a return, useless before delivery.
An order number and the phone number on the order is enough. A screenshot of the SMS works just as well.

How fast it moves

  • Inside Dhaka: confirmed before 16:00 goes out the same day, after that the next day. Steadfast collects from our Dhaka stockroom at 17:30.
  • Outside Dhaka: 2 to 4 days by Steadfast or Sundarban. The Sundarban van comes at 18:00, six days a week, not Friday. An order confirmed Thursday evening leaves Saturday.
  • All 64 districts. Home delivery in the district towns and most upazila towns. Beyond that the parcel sits at the local courier office and you collect it. The order desk will tell you which of the two your address falls under before we ship, if you ask.
  • Bats and rackets ship in a box over 86 cm. Every courier we use calls that oversize, so ৳100 goes on top of the delivery charge, once per order, unless delivery is free. Inside Dhaka delivery is ৳80, and free over ৳3,000.
  • Heavy rain across Dhaka adds a day. Riders stop making the last runs when Mirpur Road is under water and we would rather your bat did not sit on a wet bike.

If the courier has not called

  • Inside Dhaka the rider calls 10 to 20 minutes ahead, from an ordinary mobile number, often unsaved and unregistered. One missed call gets one retry the same day. After that the parcel goes back to the hub and comes out again tomorrow.
  • Outside Dhaka the call comes from the local hub, usually between 9:00 and 11:00, and sometimes the evening before.
  • Nothing by the end of day 2 outside Dhaka: call the order desk with the order number. We call the hub. The hub answers a merchant account faster than it answers a customer.
  • The number printed on the courier sticker is hub reception. They can tell you where a consignment is right now. They cannot promise you a delivery time, and if they do, it is a guess.
  • Address changes after scan-out are possible within the same district only, and only before the status reads out for delivery. Call, do not text, for that one.
The hub answers a merchant faster than it answers a customer. Let us make the call.

Paying the rider

  • Cash on delivery is the only way to pay, in all 64 districts.
  • There is no cap on cash on delivery. Every order is confirmed by phone first, and it lapses if we cannot reach you within 2 working days.
  • You can open the box in front of the rider and check the model, the size and the condition. Riders will wait for that. You cannot knock a bat in on the doorstep and then refuse the parcel.
  • Riders carry limited change. Round notes save both of you five minutes.
  • The 7-day return window starts on the delivery date in the courier record, not the order date.

The order desk

One number for calls and WhatsApp. Hours are on the Contact page.
Order desk
01518 990333. Calls and WhatsApp. Have the order number ready.

Every order is packed in our Dhaka stockroom and the ledger for it stays there. The order desk reads the same ledger and the courier panel, so one call can tell you where the parcel is and which bat came out of which rack. On a knocked-in bat that is usually the question people are really asking.

Order desk hours are on the Contact page. Page updated 7 September 2026.
